SYLKIE
Seals gather in large groups along the beaches and rocks of the Scottish coasts. This sight, of what can sometimes appear to be an infinite number of seals, has inspired this pattern.
This pattern was hand drawn in the repeat using graphite pencils. This was then scanned to allow for digital editing such as clean up, assembly and to apply colour on the oyster catchers' beaks.
