NEESICK

Across the north of Scotland, there are a large variety of whales, porpoises and dolphins visible from the coast.  A first look at any of these creatures in their natural habitat is a special moment.  I still vividly remember my first sighting of a pod of orcas off the coast of Shetland.

This pattern was created by hand drawing each motif separately with colouring pencils.  These were then scanned to allow for digital editing such as clean up, pattern assembly and background colour.
